DeMolay Week
DeMolay: Today's featured precept is cleanness. Not only the bodily cleanness which we all practice, but the cleanness of every thought, word and deed. Only in cleanness can a DeMolay rightly be representative of the pureness of our teachings.
Joe Cirilo, from Pennsylvania DeMolay has come up with an interesting idea of DeMolay Week on Facebook! What a great way to raise awareness about DeMolay using social media. Imagine if every DeMolay from Maine, where Ben Weisner is from, to Texas where Aaron Gonzalez is from, out west to CA where Kevin Momb is from decided to do that? Positive messages about youth doing great things in the US, would be pretty awesome!
DeMolay is a great organization that every young man should have the opportunity to join! The Problem: Not Many People Know What DeMolay Is The Solution: Advertise! During DeMolay Week, November 6th to the 12th, set your Facebook profile picture and status to something involving
that days theme! Encourage your friends to ask questions and get them
interested! Here's how we'll do it. Day 1 (November 6th)- Filial Love Day 2 (November 7th)- Reverence for Sacred things Day 3 (November 8th)- Courtesy AND Anniversary Day 4 (November 9th)- Comradeship Day 5 (November 10th)- Fidelity Day 6 (November 11th)- Patriotism Day 7 (November 12th)- Cleanness Lets get the word out about this amazing organization!
DeMolay: Day 3's featured Precept is Courtesy.
a courtesy that transcends friendships, a courtesy which reaches to the
stranger, to the aged, to all men. It is this courtesy that brings a
warm feeling and a smile and makes this life more pleasant for others as
it lights the pathway before us.
DeMolay: Day 6's featured Precept in Recognition of the day November 11th and it's importance, we have chosen to feature the seventh candle, patriotism.
Perhaps we shall never be called upon to defend our country on the field of battle, but each day affords new opportunities to stand as good and upright citizens on behalf of that beloved banner and our hallowed land.
